DETROIT (6/19/2024) -- University of Detroit Mercy head coach Mark Montgomery has went back in the portal for another Michigan product as he announced that Elon transfer Grant Gondrezick II has committed to the Titans.
Gondrezick II signed with Elon out of Benton Harbor High School, but did not see action in any games last year.
"Grant has great all-around skills as a guard and can help lead this team," said Montgomery. "He can handle the basketball and has great vision on the court, but he is also athletic, can shoot the ball and is a good defender."

That's a basketball playing family. Kid's got some good genes. Per Verbal Commits, he had an offer from Northern Illinois in addition to his offer from Elon. Not sure why he didn't see action last year, but he certainly had a stellar high school career.
The 2024-25 roster definitely will have a Michigan flavor.
