Can we get someone to go out there and take a look?

I don't know about this. These 3 will be traveling to/from Lansing 6 hours per week during which they could be bonding with the entire team on campus. That might qualify as a lack of commitment to the team concept.

Or maybe it's Coach Monty believing that playing with and against the current MSU players, past MSU players, and all the other experienced and inexperienced players in the league might help these 3 Titans develop as players. Plus, by helping Desmond Ferguson with his league, we rebuild some bridges. Perhaps it could lead to an NIL deal with Moneyball. But we can't just stand there with our hands out all the time. Often, we need to take the first steps - especially since we've been cloistered for the past 4 summers.

Somehow I would think if it had his 100% blessing that the whole team would be playing maybe as 2 teams. 3 guys out on their own doesn’t have feel of team concept this has the feel of what we’ve had here. I wonder who will emerge as the leader on this team?

Two games per week for one month doesn’t seem too much. The schedule ends the first week of August. That leaves 3 moths until the college season begins. I only see Nadeau listed on the team rosters.

I think it’s a good thing for the kids who are in it, playing with a bunch of other state of MI players. It’s a good summer pick up ball in a fun format. We used to annually send a bunch of guys up to play, and Oakland has continually for years.

Lary and Johnson were added between the date of the article and the date of the games. Let’s get one thing straight today! If someone does not agree with your take on something going on with the Athletic Department that does not constitute complaining! The last I checked this was a site set up to discuss Titan Basketball! Suggesting that something might be better if tackled in a different manner does not constitute complaining or suggesting that I might do it different is not and never will be complaining!
