Several recent compilations of pre-season Michigan All-State teams. Of course, what people predict as "All-State" is quite the same as "best prospect." For example, Steve Bell rates JJJ a first team all-stater and Greg Elliott 2nd team, but in the same piece calls Elliott "the best available senior" once Amauri Hardy commits at the end of this week. (I presume Elliott's size gives him a big advantage over Triple J as a prospect. Or maybe he assumes Triple J really is committed ;-)). Nonethless, I've gone through those various lists, sorting them out by order and class. So here would be the top juniors in the state per various sources (commits in italics):

Michigan State 8/3/16 *DePaul, *Duquesne, *Milwaukee, *Oakland, *Rice, *Toledo. Got to see plenty of the Titan targets in action this past Saturday at Belleville High School. In the second game of a four game set, Pickerington Central dominated a decent Hazel Park team, and Titan 2018 target Adrian Nelson showed D1 athleticism and a good skill set. Definitely worth continuing to recruit. The final game of the night featured Belleville versus Detroit Pershing. This was not the Detroit Pershing team of a few years ago. This version of the Doughboys is small and not very skilled. Belleville cruised to a victory. Titan 2018 targets Gabe Brown, Davion Williams, and Julian Savoury all had their moments. Gabe Brown looked as if he is the best player on the team, despite the early publicity last year for Davion Williams. Savoury is kind of a work in progress, but appears to have potential. I didn't see him play this weekend, but David DeJulius reportedly scored 46 points in a game over the weekend, and got a Michigan offer.
