First game in 6 weeks. Veterans Day, no less. Too bad it's not still the Memorial Building, at least for this one game.
That game is against D-III Adrian. They really should do a special, Veterans get in free, or Vets pay but coupons for drinks/dogs, etc.; I would hope they'll do something to honor vets at halftime.

They did a veteran's tribute last year, during one of the games. I've still got the t-shirt they gave out. Hopefully, they will do something for Vets for the Adrian game. Take it from a army veteran: vets love free stuff. :-)

Fort Wayne was picked to win the Summit in that conference's media & coaches poll yesterday.
Notice also that in the tradition of Milwaukee, Green Bay, Omaha, etc. they now call themselves simply Fort Wayne. There is no more "IPFW."

Notice also that in the tradition of Milwaukee, Green Bay, Omaha, etc. they now call themselves simply Fort Wayne. There is no more "IPFW." Smart move on the part of all of those schools. Gives them their own identity and provides some clarity. I'll probably take a look at Fort Wayne's box scores to see how Calhoun is doing.
