I don't think that is Antoine sitting on the floor and Hofman is not sitting he is standing below and to Millers left with the Belgium national team shirt on. I do not see Antoine, Curry or Moore. Oh man, Antoine has left the team. I don't think Antoine has left the team. I think Antoine, Curry and Moore had class or were committed elsewhere, or they were helping our new big man get situated.

Each milk purchase also counts towards the necessary amount to donate to have access to the Titan Club room. Separately, I've long been on record as a big fan of Julian Dozier's game (little PG from UD Jesuit). He held some D1 offers including Oakland and Eastern, however at this time he seems to STILL not be signed anywhere. He was 2nd team All State for D1. He took his junior year to play at some factory type high school out in Arizona before coming back to Detroit for his senior year. My reckless speculation is somehow Julian hasn't qualified somehow/someway to be eligible this year. By all accounts a good kid, but perhaps a few credits got hung up during the prep school journey out west (if thats the case, a cautionary note for other kids contemplating that route). Dozier is at Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut

That is a tall student in the back center. How tall do you think he is?

Posted this on the luncheon thread but thought I would repeat here. Coach D said two big men coming, one 6-11 the other a seven-footer. Currently finishing up with their international teams, but expected to arrive on campus later this month. Will enroll for second semester, I believe based on what was said both might be first eligible to play for the Northeastern game. I believe one recruit is from Egypt. Kinda explains why the roster is delayed in coming out, probably want all players on campus and then they will issue the standard release.

And, as part of the team's massive Wednesday data dump about the roster, Sam Hofman from Belgium changed his Twitter profile from "Detroit Mercy mbb commit" to "Detroit Mercy mbb" It's an avalanche of new info.

What's wrong with these guys? Anybody know anything about Caleb Bates? 6-7, 230 lb. small forward/wing out of St. Clair Shores. 24.7 ppg, 14.5 rpg, 2.8 apg, and 1.3 bpg this year. Division 1 First Team All State selection by Bankhoops and USA Today; 2d Team Free Press. No D-I offers, only 1 D-II offer (Wayne State). What's wrong with this kid? No three point shot? Too slow? No academics? Just surprised a kid with his size and stats wouldn't be getting offers from somewhere, at least in the low majors. Joe Moon? Mr. Basketball finalist from Westland John Glenn. 27.5 points, 5.1 assists, 5.4 rebounds per game. First Team All State AP, News, Free Press, 2nd team Bankhoops. He's a 6-2 guard, only reported offer from Indianapolis (D-II). Easier to see a guard being passed over as too slow, not enough ball handling skills, etc, than a big guy like Bates, but still wondering what his problem is.
I think these guys both play football but I've seen nothing indicating they've signed with anyone for football, either, so I don't think that's it. Moon just committed to Bryant as part of the class of 2020
