Wright State No All Horizon selections or "Top" awards for our guys. I glanced at the TSN prediction in the drug store today. I note they report that Detroit was hit by transfers when Ray departed. Huh? I think the only guys to leave were Bass, which certainly hurt us, and Gibson, which probably didn't matter, but either way they didn't transfer.

Never heard of this site before: www.arenafanatic.com/horizon-league-preview-2016-17.html. Looks like a new effort-originally (they started in 2012), they only did stadium reviews, nothing on actual teams and games, then they started with football previews, and this year hoops, too. FWIW, they've got it: 1. Valpo 2. Green Bay 3. UIC 4. Oakland 5. Detroit 6. Wright State 7. Cleveland State 8. Northern Kentucky 9. Milwaukee 10. Youngstown

Lots of new predictions coming out. The chart at the top of this list has been updated with NBC Sports' predictions, plus those of the websites HiDefinition Hoops and HLeague Hoops (a very good blog by Detroiter Tim Wietchy hleaguehoops.com/Strong consensus for Valpo at the top, followed by Green Bay and Oakland in some order, with surprising but minority support for UIC to break the top 3. The Titans are averaging a 5.5 prediction (i.e. 5th or 6th), with a top prediction of 4th by HLeague Hoops and Blue Ribbon, and a bottom of 8th from USA Today. Season can't get here fast enough.
