I just watched Corey Allen put up 25 against Northeastern. He was 5 - 8 from three and had 6 assists with 3 rebounds. He is the definite leader of the team at Georgia Southern which is ranked the 7th best mid major by College Insider. Here is our leader that got away.

Losing Corey was a definite blow. Very good player. Was bummed when he left. Glad to see him continuing to do well.

Well, good for Paris. I think he could have been quite a player with a bit more self-discipline.

An outcome of the Covid issues: Teams are so strapped for players that a lot of guys are getting shots on NBA rosters.

If you want to know why Chris Paul is so respected around the league, check out the part in the article about him giving the game ball to Paris when Paris scored his first NBA points.

When Bass started his career as a Titan I was amazed at his talent and thought he had a great shot at the NBA, if for no other reason his ability to control a basketball. (I am guessing he has very large hands.) His work ethic as a Titan was lacking, however, so it's nice to see him succeed. One has to assume that someone somewhere along the way figured out how to motivate Bass. He has high skills and great potential, and I certainly hope he has a very successful career.

If my memory serves me correctly I remember Bass having a 7’3” wing span. I was wrong I looked it up his wingspan is 6’11.5”.

From all accounts, Bass's main focus since he was in high school was playing pro ball. It appeared when he was with Detroit that his intention was to use that time to get ready for the NBA, rather than team/program success somewhere playing a role. There were issues throughout his time here, but I am glad he has got a taste of the NBA. He doesn't strike me as a player who maintains much of a connection with the Titans, but he played hard (at least during the games) while he was here and we won some games because of him.
His suspensions during his Titan tenure affect the way he is viewed. A lot of schools were interested in him due to academic concerns and other issues, but Coach Mac and the staff gave him an opportunity.
