Why is Lamar Norman visiting at Cleveland State?
I do hope we sign someone in the early period this year. Usually it's about now kids start announcing in significant numbers.

Washington received an offer from UCLA. His ranking certainly does not reflect his offers. Washington reportedly picked up an offer from Oregon.

Amari Kelly is visiting Louisiana Tech next week. He also picked up an offer from Auburn, his first P5 offer. He has over 20 offers overall.

The head coach at Cal Poly came to see Wade this week. I also saw another mention of his planned visit to Loyola this weekend. I can't remember if he has been on the Titan campus for an unofficial visit, or if he was at one of the summer camps this year.

Ohio Hoops ranks Nelson the #10 prospect in Ohio's class of '18. Triple Double Prospects puts him at #15. Ohio Gems only ranks by position, but places him as the #2 small forward in the state, which would indicate a higher overall ranking than the other two services. He has a reported 18 offers, but they are generally lower majors--no P6, AAC, A10, 1 Mountain West (Air Force), and no MVC. Wright State, Youngstown, and Northern Kentucky have all offered. Nelson is good. Lot of talent passing through Pickerington these days.

It would be good for our program if kids in that area saw Detroit as a viable option.

You are right MCsam, I had never heard of Pickerington,Ohio until last year and I've been through Ohio on road trips many, many times. Nelson looks like a player with a lot of upside. I take it as a positive sign that we were able to get Nelson campus. Was this an official or an unofficial visit? I know during the McCallum regime the titans really rolled out the red carpet for recruits and their parents, everything was first class.
