Giovannia Fraser, who played a total of 82 minutes as a freshman last year for the Jags, is transferring. Fraser has good mid major size at 6-8, 235, but couldn't crack the lineup consistently last season.

IUPUI recently received a verbal commitment in the class of 2018 from Canada's Brandon Kenyon. He's a 6-10 center. Hard to find much information about him, but he was apparently a William & Mary target at one point. No way to tell if he'll be the second coming of Pat "Real School" Ackerman, a modern day John Buzka, or something else. verbalcommits.com/players/brandon-kenyonKenyon is the second commitment for IUPUI in the class of 2018. They earlier received a commitment from Jack Hansen, a 6-6 forward from Carmel, IN. www.prepballstars.com/?p=281

The Jags got a nice verbal commitment from Marcus Burk, a transfer from Campbell who averaged 15 points per game as a sophomore, shooting 49% from the floor, 40% from three, and 85% from the line. Burks is an Indianapolis native, so it's a homecoming for him. He went for over 30 points three times last season. www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/4067274/marcus-burk

Jackson was at Southern Utah last year after a freshman year at Williston. He'll do the transfer sit this season. Kemp seems to be a last minute replacement for Mike Sagay, a 6-7 transfer from Boston College who sat last spring and would have been eligible after fall semester. Sagay was listed on their roster in mid-July, but it now off their roster and his prior number assigned to a freshman. No word on what happened there--Sagay made the Honor Roll at IUPUI in spring semester. Kemp averaged 4.5 points and 2.5 rebounds last year and did not start at game at Salt Lake CC.

The Jags add a player in the class of 2019 as New Jersey point guard Mike DePersia verbally commits. Not much information about him. Per reports, IUPUI just offered him in July, so it was a quick recruitment.

Isaiah Williams, a 6-7 forward from Pensacola State Junior College, committed to the Jaguars. He looks to have been on the Liberty roster last year but didn't play. He is out of Dayton Ohio so Indy wouldn't be to far and friends and family can see a majority of his games.

Hard to tell what impact he will have as a player. The most recent stats I saw show him at 13 points and five rebounds per game.
