We need to find C.J. Maxwell and add him in somewhere.

We may have identified our second grad assistant, Darryl Jackson, who had been an assistant coach at Navarro College, a pretty successful JUCO program. Before that, he was on the support staff at Valpo. On his Twitter profile, Jackson says, "Grad Assistant University of Detroit Mercy" then an emoji of a basketball.
Last September, we had announced two grad assistants, Kevin Brumfield and Nigel Ramsey. Maybe by the time of the golf outing, we'll know.

How far can she throw a shoe? Thought you'd be the first to reply. The distance depends upon the make and model of the shoe. For example, one of her own shoes could be a dangerous weapon.

How about a Nike Zion model? High risk of breaking apart on launch or burning up during re-entry.

In only one year, Eric left his mark on our basketball program. Fortunately, it wasn't a shoe tread impression on the forehead of an opponent or an official.

"The Eric Devendorf Memorial Shoe Tossing Contest!"
Commish, you can't call it "memorial" until the named person is deceased. (Just like the first event can't be called "first annual" because it's not annual until the second one.)
