It sounds like you and motor city sam want a famous Program/University more than a winning program to me. I want a winning program first.
"You must make a strong base to be able to handle a large structure. The weaker the base the easier it will be for outside forces to over power it " JDetroitTitan
This strikes me as equally or more absurd. Of course we want a winning program. Has it never occurred to you that positive media, bringing with it greater exposure to recruits, higher fan attendance, and perhaps still more positive media, can contribute to a winning program? With due respect JD, you are talking utter nonsense. To act as if positive media is somehow in conflict with a winning program is the peak of absurdity. It's not like anyone is suggesting we cancel practice to pose for pictures with Rothstein, or divert the recruiting budget to paying to boost Twitter posts. This is the original statement I made. "Apart of me hopes he skips us. I would rather see a team play with a chip on there shoulders than one that feels they are entitled."
Meaning that I feel players will play harder when they have a chip on their shoulder (need to prove something) than a person (or team) that feels they are entitled (they don't need to prove anything). You can also see in bold underlined the word Apart meaning only a piece of me feels this way. I was taking something negative and making the out come be positive in a sense. So from there Commissioner and MotorCitySam took this statement out of contexts and ran with it. So as a joke I took your statements and change the contexts too. I thought you would of figured it out or looked at the original statement but that apparently never happen.
Were I stand in the end I am for positive media and a winning program so please stop twisting my words and I will stop twisting yours.

If you want to try to clean it up now, go ahead, but no one took anything you said out of context or twisted your words. I responded exactly to what you said. You should have dropped it after suggesting that positive attention would be bad for the program. Instead you doubled down on it and now want to claim you were just joking.

I learned a lot about the South Alabama team this week became Rothstein visited their practice and posted about them. And they weren't even a team that was on my radar before this week.

Hoop Night in the D may not be enough to settle the disagreement between jdetroititan and the Commish + mcsam. We need to add them to the program with an on-court contest to settle the matter. Apart from that, a part of me wonders what contest would be the best way to decide the issue. Shoulder chip tossing cornhole? Fast press release composing? Any suggestions? How about them Titans!!!!

Hoping to see some pics and video on social media for the first Titans practice of the season, which took place today.
Edit: Ask, and it shall be given unto you.

Would appear to be Legrand (#13, you can tell the 3 is off center and thus it’s jersey #13).
I guess the MBM took the picture himself and therefore cannot be seen.

Do people really find it funny to keep posting about the MBM? The original post was posted back in March, and the poster hasn't posted in almost 4 months. Move on already.

Might be the camera angle but the bases seem to be a lot better. It doesn't look like there will be many teams out there who will wedge us out of position this year. I hope Miller can get his ft.% back up over 70%+ and stay out of foul trouble. He was Louisiana's best rebounder last year. He fouls a lot and draws a lot of fouls.

One comment, one question.
Comment: According to the roster on this forum, we have nine players on scholarship. According to the UDM website, we have nine coaches.
Question: Anyone have any insights on Alonde LeGrand?

Its hard to tell how talented a player is based on his highlight reel, but LeGrand has good size and it looks like he has a decent handle and can shoot it some.
