The officiating was terrible but that is what you get in a league like the Horizon. I guess we really can't expect much more. Why are we trying to build a program with what very well might be one of the worst if not the worst support staff in College basketball? Guys played hard and never panicked. It felt like they were going to win all the way through this game. I watched the yesterdays game a second time and it didn't look like they iced Waterman. I hope they didn't put heat on itin the locker room. Montgomery seemed to be pretty active on the sideline.

Enjoy it. Don’t be so harsh. You might not even be right. Maybe they iced it after the game. Maybe you don’t ice if he was still playing (as he was yesterday after the injury). Relax and enjoy it.

EVERYONE played well. EVERYONE. Don't disregard what Johnson and Isiani did tonight. And Fraser is a tough SOB. We are becoming a TEAM. a TEAM!!!! I noted the YSU announcer said Detroit was the best team they'd seen this year. Gotta take care of PFW next weekend.

When the decision was made to keep Waterman off of the floor, the shoe should have come off and the ice on, not 45 min. later. There is more to this than just the winning if you plan on staying good once you get there. The ineptness is not corrected by the win! I love the win. Do not get me wrong but a lot on here are harsh on Davis without understanding the culture he is dealing with there. I guess it is sort of like a sprinter in swimming trying to improve on his top times while competing in a pool filled with Jello.

IMO, the play of the game was Bul Kuol's defense on Naz Bohannon with about 30 seconds to go. Bohannon tried 2 times to bump Bul off his defensive spot, but Bul stood firm and forced a big turnover by Bohannon. We got the ball inbounds and Rose made the second of his 3 pairs of clutch FT's in the final 1:20. You can watch the play near the end of the video highlights of yesterday's game.

Bul had a very sub-par game--until the final minutes, when he sank two crucial threes (the rest of the night he was 1-11 from the floor) and then made the play you describe. Even having a down game, coach kept him on the floor for 38 minutes, more even than AD. One thing I really like about this team is there are several guys in whom I have tremendous confidence, especially at clutch time--Bul, Johnson, Fraser, AD, and to only a slightly lesser extent Rose and Waterman (Rose because he's not as good a foul shooter, and Waterman just because he's a freshman and hasn't really been put to the test yet). And we get to those final minutes with a small lead, it really doesn't matter who the opposition fouls--every guy on the floor will be able to hit free throws (because Coach will pull Brandon). This team has some mental toughness and has rallied from second half deficits in our last 4 wins.

I’m happy with every win, but it would be nice to extend a lead and hold it to make it less nerve wracking at the end lol. But I think the team is gaining the confidence not to get down even when they fall behind late. Still, you’re not always going to hit every clutch free throw or three pointer, or make a big steal. Which is why it would be nice to have a 10 point lead with 2 min to go instead of being down 3. Why hasn’t Koka played the last couple of games? Injured?

When they figure that out they will be even better. I think Fraser and Kuol understand how the rest will acquire the relentlessness from them. Coach has figured out that he has to have them on the floor at the finish.
