What to Watch For December 3, 2022. Lots to choose from. 3:00 PM ESPNU Oakland vs Purdue Fort Wayne. This should really be the Titans/Vikings game, but you can use it to scout OU. 4:00 PM BTN #10 Indiana vs Rutgers. Potential trap game for the Hoosiers after their win over UNC. 4:30 PM FS1 Wisconsin vs Marquette. Rivalry game! Ahem... the Titans are playing on ESPN+ at 3:00 p.m. today. Yeah, I will be tuning in. On the What to Watch posts I usually just include the games accessible via television; the cable sports channels and CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox. I have included the Titans in the past when they were on ESPN or Fox Sports/Bally Sports Detroit.

MC Sam, Last night DePaul's Marty Embry was inducted into The Greater Flint Sports Hall of Fame. He joined among others Llyod Brazil the "First Flint Football All-American at the University of Detroit". Well deserved honor for Marty, who found fame and prestige as a chef after his playing days ended.

What to watch for December 4, 2022.
10:30 AM ESPNU Maine vs Marist. Part of the Basketball Hall of Fame London Showcase.
1:00 PM ABC #19 Joe B. Hall vs Johnny Orr. Michigan is a nine point underdog at Kentucky.
3:00 PM ESPN2 Lou Carnesecca vs #23 Johnny Orr. St. John's gets a shot at a ranked Iowa State team. SJU will need a win here if they are on the bubble.
4:30 PM FS1 Nebraska vs #7 Creighton. State championship.
7:00 PM Big Ten Network Art Aaron vs #20 Jay Vincent. Michigan State SHOULD win this home game against Northwestern. (If you don't know Art Aaron, don't feel bad. He wasn't well known when he was playing in the early 80s for the Wildcats.)
7:00 PM ESPN2 Stanford vs Arizona State. ASU has a soft schedule in the non-conference (they only play two power conference teams, and one of those is Creighton) and came back to beat Colorado earlier this week. The Sun Devils could have a glitzy record come January and the PAC 12 looks soft again. Hurley might make the tournament this season and keep his job.

Syracuse 95, Oakland 66. Syracuse entered the game 4-4 and a 16.5 point favorite, led by as many as 42. Townsend continues to be a bright spot for the the Grizzlies led with 29 points. Moore had 12, Watts had 8, Bowman (their transfer from Wisconsin who has yet to make much of a splash) did not play. Brody Parker, who was suppose to be red shirted for OU this year, saw some action but went 0-6 from the field, failing to score. With the loss Oakland falls to 2-9 on the season, their only D-1 win coming against EMU in overtime.
