People you need to stop thinking so small with getting ride of the coaching staff. We need to get a new AD first. Agreed. Larry said clean house. Thus includes the AD and most certainly the coaching staff. The Detroit article Titan Jim put had his quote "Forward Alex Tchikou came in as a two-time transfer, so he wasn't eligible until a federal court ruled in December to put a stay on the NCAA's rule that a two-time transfer had to sit out a year. Problem was, Tchikou was in France when he got the word, he had a passport problem, and now it's too late." This is the root of the problem in Cali Hall and needs to be fixed first. That is who is managing the team/players off the court. No on is paying attention to these guys when they come and this statement make it clear. Same problem with Stone last year, Hogan too and there is probably a longer list of this issue.

I wonder if you have a coaching staff that has delivered a 0-22 record to date, how anyone think if we give them more time it will get better. I guess 1 win is better than no wins.
If somebody (like the AD) thinks that Davis is doing his best work teaching but doesn't have the basic knowledge as to what a D1 coach should do, coach and win, that's it.
It's kind of that beer company that got mixed up in a social agender last year, as a public company the only thing that should concern them is to make beer, sell beer, make a profit selling beer
and pay dividends, period, thats it. This coaching staff has to recruit players, mold them into a team and win games, period.

I respectfully disagree that Davis, with over 30 years college coaching and over 20 of those years as a head coach, "doesn't have the basic knowledge as to what a D1 coach should do." (If that's what you mean to say, Fan. This is kind of a muddled comment.)

So why is this guy not playing now??? Not sure but I heard something suggesting his visa problems interfered with completion of Fall semester classes, perhaps incomplete coursework still needed to be made up before becoming eligible this semester.

Not sure but I heard something suggesting his visa problems interfered with completion of Fall semester classes, perhaps incomplete coursework still needed to be made up before becoming eligible this semester. If Alex has an unused year of eligibility, it's worth considering whether sitting him out for the remainder of this season means he could play all next year. The question is whether he would agree to come back. (I heard he was all caught up on his course work, but I don't know that for sure.) It would also be nice to have Stone come back for another season. The school could have cast him free after his issues last year, but Detroit Mercy stuck by him. He's obviously capable of the academics if he was the right support: He made the honor roll in the fall. Reciprocating by agreeing to another season would seem a fair expectation. I have no inside info, just spitballing and dreaming.

This is enlightening! I never knew you needed a gym to train or stay in shape. π€·π»ββοΈ We should have brought him back in through the Southern Border!

He could take some of that fed money and get to UDM from were every they land him at.

We could use scholarship for someone serious about being a good Titan, teammate and player!

There were and is too many hands involved in this deal, it's likely just some clerk at Alabama just dropped the ball and messed this up for what seems like a fine young man.
