Alex Tchikou is a transfer from Alabama. Good news is he's 6-11, 230. The bad news is, he is a second time transfer and needs a waiver.

We offered him last year and he chose the A-10. Must remain persistent.

The dunks mean nothing. After all, he’s 6-11. I am more impressed with the 15’ jumpers. Do we know if he requires a waiver?

We have guards and forwards to shoot from that far out. And a dunk is a high-percentage shot, especially considering the number of bunny lay-ups the Titans had blocked last year.

Actually, for 6-11 he has excellent ball-handling skills.

Actually, for 6-11 he has excellent ball-handling skills. He is not bending that much on the dribble going into the lane if not isolated there will be a lot of hands on that high bounce!

Putting the ball on the ground is a disease for most big men, so are hands like 2 by 4s. The point was he can handle the ball(thats good), he won't drive the paint (hopefully) in a game, but again hopefully he won't catch passes with his face.

Any news on the status of the waiver for Alex Tchikou? We really need him to be available at the start of the season!
