As usual akhorey is probably right. We formed a Fan Engagement Committee last year and with the help of some dedicated fans and others who ACTUALLY ATTEND GAMES we came up with a list of ideas that will make the Fan Experience better for next year. Our focus began with things we can do for free. (Pictures with the teams after games, autograph sessions, find Tommy Titan in the crowd etc.) The list had a lot of input from many people involved with Titan Athletics including Coaches of various teams, Players, Cheerleaders and Dance Team members. The list was sent to James and Sam in Marketing and there was a follow conversation with them after they had time to review the information. In addition, Big Chuck started a Thread which many people responded to including Rogo Bob with a very long detailed list of promotions and suggestions. This Thread also has been referenced many times with the Marketing staff. They are aware that they need to do something! In addition, Coach Kate and Coach Monty are aware that the Fan Engagement List exists, and they both said to let them know what they need to do to support the effort. Will there be a Fan Engagement Coordinator this year? (Not sure). If not, we have enough people who attend games like other Sport Coaches and Cheerleaders and Dance Team that we will pull off some of the items on the list this year.
In the meantime, I will be asking Marketing for Monthly updates and working with them to make this happen.

Late yesterday, the university made LaMonta's Stone's hire official. The link to the story is in the X post. The delay in announcing these people results from the university's background check process that can take a long time when a person has worked in many different locations. I imagine that Monty may have leaked his staff to the media to stop the phone calls from applicants.

I like this staff, younger and hungrier. It seems like the average age of coach Davis' staff was a 102.

I like this staff, younger and hungrier. It seems like the average age of coach Davis' staff was a 102. Saw Coach Montgomery today, thought to myself he has energy and a sense of urgency. I like that about him. |
