I’m all in for supporting Coach Monty and very enthusiastic and optimistic about our program’s direction.
I do find it surprising that we have not had a splash or two in portal commitment(s). I thought we would see this first before signing HS recruits. Let’s hope that there is still time to land one or two impactful portal transfers.

I hear that we only have 2 or 3 roster spots open. Unless the players announce their verbal commitments, it is university policy not to announce a transfer until after he has been admitted and signs the grant in aid forms. Just like the school doesn't announce freshmen until they sign their national letters of intent and the school receives them.
Right now, 4 returnees, 4 freshmen, and maybe 2 or 3 transfers.

I’m not a fan of a bunch of one and doves who can’t decide what they want to do or are not team guys and want to see the USA in someone else’s Chevrolet. Put together a nucleus of guys who want to play together and become real teammates. I think that is how we dig our way out! Sure we can get lucky and find that one guy who just didn’t fit where he was at but as Davis already proved, for every good one you get 2-3 crappy to mediocre ones and all they are doing is taking developmental time away from the younger players on the team thus next year you are in the same spot as this year and it goes on and on. |

We had more than other teams in our league because the only thing that mattered was AD. If there is no team fee, you feel you can contribute more than the guy getting more time and not much campus life, why stay? |

I'm thinking we'll have 5 players return; Alex, Kuac, Manciel, Davis, & Hurst*. Add the 4 incoming Freshman that have been announced (Johnson, Mitchell, Nadeau, & Okoro). That leaves 4 scholarships remaining.
* Regrading Hurst; I'm an eternal optimist.😊
