Any chance he comes back?

What will this be, his fourth move? I wouldn't trust the guy to stay for more than two weeks.

Maybe he’ll end up at Canisius.

Any chance he comes back? I would guess he would follow his BYU coach!

Maybe he’ll end up at Canisius. He needs to go to St. Francis of Pennsylvania and complete the Catholic trifecta: Laurentian (Niagara), Jesuit (Detroit) and Franciscan (St. Francis), with an LDS stopover.

Any chance he comes back? If he's not a grad transfer, then we become one of his more viable options. He and Coach Montgomery do know each other from the 2021-21 season. Don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. I guess there's always a chance. More likely, he's looking elsewhere.

You know he wants to be a PG/SG. I would give him what he wants. He is a good shooter and good enough ball handler.
But I would doubt he would come back unless he had some kind of bond with coach from last time.

Admittedly, I have not been as high on Waterman as some of you have. Still, I don't think he is leaving a Big 12 school to return to Detroit, one of two previous stops in his nomadic career. He'll have other, better options.
I don't think Coach Cal would have taken him at Kentucky, but Coach Pope might.

He started at BYU and they were ranked higher than Kentucky. 6’11” is 6’11” and the guy can shoot and has good ball skills especially for his size.

I'm surprised to read that he started every BYU game last season. Also surprised to read in the X post that he is "a versatile big" as he never wanted to play as a "big."
