A large part of this year's non-conference schedule was set during Davis' last year here; e.g., Wake Forest, Ball State, and Niagara. Maybe even Cincinnati. Like last year, we have to play 4 HL games in December. Two of them will likely be at Calihan. EMU and Toledo are series that transcend the guy who is the coach. Unless we're in an MTE, we will play 20 HL games and 10 non-conference games. This makes it likely that we will play an exhibition game at Calihan before November 6th. Probably Wayne State and hopefully we will be better prepared this year!

Going forward, it would be nice to build a little rivalry and yearly contests with Western Michigan, seeing that Monty and Stephens were on staff together at MSU.

Add @ Bradley to the schedule.

A possible non-D1 opponent might be Cleary University, fairly new to NAIA. Not clear if that is exhibition or regular game. Heard Titan HC Montgomery is tight with their head coach.

I heard an MTE tournament is still a possibility. Some recent talks regarding a tournament taking place in Cancun, there may be others.

Right now the Titans are one of just 69 teams not publicly committed to an MTE.

This may be a benefit if it results in an additional home game or if it allows us to play in an MTE.

Also looks unlikely that we'll play Cincinnati. They've got 10 known non-con games, so they've got 1 opening left. If we had a deal, they'd probably have done the official schedule announcement. But it's possible there are negotiations in progress. I don't think their fans want to see us a third time.

Wayne St. will be an exhibition opponent. Clearly a regular season game, November 4. Three new opponents, all buy games: Davidson, Wisconsin, and Pitt. Previously reported Loyola and Wake Forest still on schedule, those are both buy games. At EMU and home games with Niagara and Ball St. And yes, we are playing in an MTE tournament at Flagler, I believe that is in Florida. Don't know the opponents. That's all unofficial but I think likely to be announced soon.

Cleary, Niagara, Toledo, EMU, Wake Forest. D1 Docket, which is quite good on these things, has us playing at Bowling Green on December 18, and at Ball State (we played them in Calihan last year, so that should be a road game) on Nov. 20. That's 7 games. Add Loyola, Davidson, Pitt, and Wisconsin, and we're at 11, which is the max, but we can only do that if we play in an MTE. Pitt and Wisconsin are in an MTE together Nov. 22-24 in White Sulpher Springs, WV, but that's a 3-game MTE and all 8 slots are filled, so unless two teams were dropping out, that won't work. I guess we'll find out when things are announced.

My guess is that we aren't playing BG.
The Jacksonville Classic MTE has been played at Flagler College in St Augustine for the past 4 or 5 years. Last year, the 8 teams were UCF, SD State, George Mason, Utah Valley, Cal State Fullerton, Cornell, Southern Miss, and Charlotte.

Looking at the web page for last year's tournament the 8 teams were divided into two 4 team brackets so it was a two game event rather than 3
