Here are the Pomeroy Horizon predictions, using his predicted RPI (which, we should note, is influenced by non-con schedule). Pomeroy ranking in parens. Thanks for the link, Sam.
1. Green Bay (76) 2. Cleveland State (89) 3. Detroit (142) 4. Wright State (153) 5. Valparaiso (161) 6. Milwaukee (189) 7. Oakland (192) 8. Youngstown State (232) 9. UIC (286)
I've added Pomeroy to the composite preseason prediction table above in this thread.

Reposting this little aggregate table on Horizon predictions here at the bottom of the thread. Basically, a team gets 9 points for first, 8 for second, etc. down to one point for a last place prediction. Where a publication did not predict the entire standings, I gave all the unranked teams 0 points, and then the last ranked team 1 point, next to last ranked team 2 points, etc. Poll/Team | Grn. Bay | CSU | Valpo | Detroit | WSU | Oak. | Mil. | YSU | UIC | Horizon League Poll | 9 | 8 | 6 | 7 | 5 | 3 | 4 | 2 | 1 | Blue Ribbon | 9 | 8 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | Athlon | 9 | 7 | 8 | 6 | 5 | 3 | 4 | 2 | 1 | Lindys | 9 | 8 | 5 | 7 | 6 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | ESPN | 9 | 8 | 7 | 4 | 6 | 5 | 3 | 2 | 1 | Ken Pomeroy | 9 | 8 | 5 | 7 | 6 | 3 | 4 | 2 | 1 | Massey | 9 | 8 | 5 | 4 | 7 | 3 | 6 | 2 | 1 | Sports Illustrated | 9 | 8 | 7 | 5 | 4 | 3 | 6 | 2 | 1 | NBC Sports | 9 | 8 | 7 | 4 | 6 | 3 | 5 | 2 | 1 | Sporting News | 7 | 9 | 8 | 2 | 5 | 6 | 4 | 3 | 1 | Busting Brackets | 9 | 8 | 7 | 6 | 4 | 3 | 5 | 2 | 1 | Mid Major Madness | 9 | 8 | 6 | 7 | 4 | 3 | 5 | 2 | 1 | Cleveland Fan Blog | 9 | 8 | 7 | 6 | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | Catch & Shoot | 8 | 9 | 5 | 7 | 4 | 3 | 6 | 2 | 1 | Hoops Pulse | 9 | 7 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 8 | 3 | 2 | 1 | Recruit Recon | 6 | 9 | 5 | 8 | 1 | 4 | 7 | 3 | 2 | SB Nation | 8 | 9 | 4 | 7 | 3 | 5 | 6 | 2 | 1 | Basketball Predictions | 4 | 5 | 2 | 3 | - | - | 1 | - | - | USA Today | 3 | 2 | - | 1 | - | - | - | - | - | Sports Madness | 1 | 2 | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | CBS Sports | 1 | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | Total | 155 | 147 | 103 | 102 | 84 | 67 | 78 | 36 | 18 |
That makes the aggregate prediction (edited 10/31): 1. Green Bay 2. Cleveland State 3. Valparaiso 4. Detroit 5. Wright State 6. Milwaukee 7. Oakland 8. Youngstown State 9. UIC

NBC Sports: 1. Green Bay 2. Cleveland State 3. Valparaiso 4. Wright State 5. Milwaukee 6. Detroit 7. Oakland 8. Youngstown State 9. UIC
Even though this just came out, they still have Lexus Williams playing for Valpo, and it's been known for weeks that he is out for the year.

Consider it done: 1. Green Bay (80) 2. Cleveland State (103) 3. Valparaiso (152) 4. Milwaukee (167) 5. Detroit (179) 6. Wright State (197) 7. Oakland (201) 8. Youngstown State (221) 9. UIC (279) Notice how tight 3rd through 7th are, separated by just 49 slots top to bottom.

Updated for the SI rankings, and updated the table as well. SI puts Milwaukee 4th, higher than any of the other prognosticators. That boosts Milwaukee past Oakland into a composite 6th place prediction, with Oakland 7th. The composite ranking has Detroit 4th.

Here are standings based on pre-season Massey Rankings. www.masseyratings.com/rate.php?lg=cb&sub=NCAA%20I. Massey actually ranks all 1000 NCAA teams, including D-II and D-III teams, which is cool for those exhibitions. Don't know much about their methodology, though. Here's are where they rank Horizon teams. 1. Green Bay (94) 2. Cleveland State (108) 3. Wright State (125) 4. Milwaukee (150) 5. Valparaiso (161) 6. Detroit (183) 7. Oakland (190) 8. Youngstown State (192) 9. UIC (243)

Some pretty idiosyncratic picks. But I'm adding them in the composite table. After all, Hoops Pulse is certainly idiosyncratic, too. It's like the wisdom of the crowds, man!

Here's my Detroit preview. Probably not bringing much new info to the table, but hopefully you like it.
