24/7 2020 rankings. 21. Isaiah Jackson, Waterford Mott. 54. Jalen Terry, Flint Beecher. 138. Carlos "Scooby" Johnson, Benton Harbor. 157. Tyson Acuff, Detroit Cass Tech. 166. Lorne Bowman, OL St. Mary 206. Matt Nicholson, Clarkston. 236. Wendell Green, La Lumiere. (Formerly of Detroit Country Day.) The Titans offered Jackson, Terry, Johnson, and Greene during the Bacari days. Terry has already verbaled to MSU. Whether Davis has stayed on the hunt for the others I don't know. His style tends to be different, not automatically offering the state's top players if they look unlikely to Titans. But Davis has offered Acuff. Acuff is the guy I'd really like to get--it seem realistic. His stock is rising, which I always like. He's got several solid mid-major offers. State and some other P6 teams have scouted but none of them has pulled the trigger yet. Acuff's classmate, and running mate in the Cass Tech backcourt, Kyle LeGreair, has verbaled to the Titans.

As posted above, Verbal Commits reported offers to a couple junior college players: 9/3/2019 - JUCO PF Clint Wickliffe, Jr. (6-7, 220, 2★) has received an offer from Detroit. 9/3/2019 - JUCO SF Luiz Machado, Jr. (6-6, 175, 2★) has received an offer from Detroit. This is some info written on Wickliffe after his junior season in high school: We are on the tail end of summer basketball and around the country college prospects at all levels are working on their game and working toward earning an opportunity to play at the next level. Prep Hoops Kentucky puts the spotlight on prospects around the Bluegrass State. Clint Wickliffe is a 6’6 forward from Fern Creek High School in Louisville, KY. As a junior, Wickliffe helped lead Fern Creek to it’s first ever state tournament berth, advancing all the way to the semi-final game. The Tigers finished with an overall record of 35-3. Wickliffe was recently featured in our 2018: D1 Dark Horses piece. “Last high school season was great with the team going 35-3. Losing in the final four of the state tournament was disappointing, but we enjoyed the ride,” said Wickliffe. Fern Creek also won the Louisville Invitational Tournament, the 24th District championship, and won it’s first ever 6th Region championship. “Individually, I made the all tournament team after our team won the L.I.T.” Clint averaged just over 8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Expect those numbers to improve during his senior campaign after the graduation of Fern Creek stud Chance Moore. Clint said his goals next season is to “simply repeat some of the magic we had last season, but this time we want to win the whole thing.” This summer Clint played some summer ball with Hoop Dreams here in Kentucky. “I didn’t really play too much summer ball, but worked out a lot and spent a lot of time in the weight room and gym.” Wickliffe mentioned two points of off-season improvement included becoming more explosive and improving his ball handling. The 6’6 forward is a player who can go get you a bucket when needed, and who can also shoot it with some range 15 feet and out. “I’m also very aggressive down low in the paint. I feel like I’m stronger than most opponents.” Wickliffe is getting interest from a number of schools, including Temple University, Murray State, Morehead State, Miami of Ohio, FGCU, Central Arkansas, Robert Morris, Appalachian State, and Air Force. “I also have an offer from Georgetown College (NAIA powerhouse).” Clint is looking for a school that fits him both on and off the court, with the hope of competing for minutes as a freshman. Wick life had 11ppg. 6rpg. senior yr in HS. No stats for 18-19. This may be his first yr of Juco. Machado had 10ppg. 40% 3 pt FG at Highland CC in Kansas.
Maybe a 2 for 1. Let's see if they sign in November.
