As I expected when a couple schedules came out earlier in the week with Milwaukee on them, Milwaukee's non-conference schedule has come out this week, the 5th full schedule release in the Horizon. The first page is updated to reflect this.
The schedule includes a couple of pay games, at Iowa State and Wisconsin. Obviously, Wisconsin is also the highlight of the schedule. It's on the road, but it's still a chance to play the Big 10 in-state rival, and a short drive from Milwaukee. There are a couple of other good tests. The first is Loyola, which seems to be the favorite this year in the MVC. The Panthers get that one at home, making it one of the better home games we've seen so far for the Horizon. One of the MAC favorites is Western Michigan, which will also play in Milwaukee. The third tough mid-major is Belmont, which will be played in Nashville. There are two non-DI games, against LaCrosse and Concordia (Mn.). It'll be tough for the Panthers to come out over .500, but they should be close. I'll predict 6-7.

No UTSA, NAU or Eastern Illinois this season for UIC, Commish. They've all released non-con schedules.

At least to date. They've got currently just 11 non-con games posted, but are eligible to play up to 13. My guess is that at a minimum we'll see another non-DI team added to the schedule.

The horizon games are listed though That suggest we'll likely see a full Horizon League release in the next 24 or 48 hours.

Schedules released for Green Bay, UIC, and NKU. Interesting that none of the three scheduled a full slate of 31 games. That indicates the growing difficulty of scheduling. At some point, I think they decided they were unlikely to find another D1 opponent, and that scheduling a third NAIA team wasn't worth it. Green Bay and NKU already have two non-D1 schools on the schedule (not counting exhibitions). UIC has one.
Of schools that announced earlier, Detroit, Wright State, Youngstown State and Milwaukee each have two non-D1 opponents. Oakland has none.
IUPUI and Cleveland State are now the only schools not to release a non-conference slate.

Cleveland State's schedule is out. It's a pretty depressing home slate, except for a game with Toledo in December. Other home games are Notre Dame (of Ohio, not the Notre Dame), Coppin State, Central Connecticut State, and Arkansas State. But it does have just one non-DI team, which is better than 6 of their Horizon compatriots.
That leaves IUPUI as the only Horizon team not to announce.
