Mike Davis (JR?) has been the team's voice on the radio most of the season, we might have a new coach named Mike Davis next year. I will absolutely stop attending games if that were ever to happen. That would be a signal that the university has given up on taking D1 basketball seriously. All that said, no way that happens.

Jr. Has proven to me with his rotations that he has no idea how to control the flow of a game. He is kind of a prime example of the if you don’t know what to do do something anyway.

It seems since MD's arrival this has been more like the Davis family basketball club, rather than the UDM club.

What a year, Antoine! Happy for you. Like Earl said during the jersey ceremony, your parents did a fine job raising you. I don’t follow pro hoops but I’ll try to watch every game you play at the next level.

Therefore, you will only be watching youtube highlights of AD at the next level.

Thirteen of 15 players who made All America were from power conferences, and one each from Houston and Gonzaga. Even the Honorable mentions were mostly from power conferences. Cohill from YSU failed to make it.

I was kind of hoping AD would make the third team, just because it's been a long time since we've had a "teamed" All-American, as opposed to "just" honorable mention. Truthfully, I don't think he's one of the 15 best players, but the PR would have been nice. Our last "teamed" All-American was Terry Tyler, who made the Helms Third Team in 1978. Before that our "teamed" selections were Bob Calihan in 1939, Bill Ebben in 1956 and 1957, Dave DeBusschere in 1960/61/62, and Spencer Haywood in 1969. AD took the place of Keyontae Johnson of Kansas State from the AP team. (I think AD had a better season that Bacot, an all-round disappointment for UNC.)
If you look at AD's overall game he had a pretty tremendous year: led the nation in scoring by a long shot, 4 assists per game, 37.5 minutes per game. All while being double- or triple-teamed. And making Academic All-America.
