I'm not saying this is what I want, but this is what we should expect. The dots line up and it makes too much sense.... 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Less than 40% ft. Should never see the floor, ever. In fact if you can shoot 50% you have no business out there unless you can rebound 25+ per. And are a superior defender. But at under 40% it is worth fouling every time you touch the ball. That is like a 20% Fg % shows total lack of discipline and lack of dedication.

Small sample size: last 4 seasons from the line 5 of 16; 2 of 4; 4 of 10; 2 of 6. If you're going to use the small sample size for FT shooting, let's also use it for shooting from the field: 57.1%; 70.0%; 52.4%; 63.6% - based on that - he should shoot more than AD! Seriously, I'm not defending this as a player I want. I think this specific player (or this type of player with these type of limited/poor stats) are what you're going to get at this point.... Being a Titan fan and posting on this Board is starting to become something I'm starting to really hate doing - it's not fun at all; And when it's not fun anymore, what's the point?

Hscout. I wasn’t trying to beat you up when I posted. I hope I am not part of your frustration when posting. I keep jumping on here hoping for news which you bring. I have always felt I could shoot 50% from the line blindfolded or 40% backwards. I have no patience for poor Ft. shooting and if that guy was on the floor he would have to prove to me that he could shoot FTs. before he would ever get a shot off or an outlet pass away. What ever happened to the after practice not going to the showers until you hit 10-11 in a row and that was no matter how long it took. I suppose today the school would be sued for harassment. It's not you Up. Everyone has opinions, sometime I agree and sometimes I don't. I'm just tired of rooting for a program that acts like it doesn't want fans rooting for it; a program with a Coach that seemingly isn't accountable to anyone...

I was a defender of Davis and was quick to defend him but I think I was mistaken. I am really tired of what has and is going on. Some on here defend what I perceive as complacency as policy. If it is policy it has been and is another bad decision. I still get on here multiple times every day looking for positive information about the program. Maybe I’m getting old but I now have the lowest expectation of success and excitement for U of D. If it wasn’t for this site and the people on it I probably would have completely lost interest.

From the past 2 days: Long Island 6’8 forward Isaac Kante has entered the transfer portal. Kante averaged 12.0 points and 7.5 rebounds for LIU. Also played at Hofstra and Georgia. But this is probably more like what we should expect: Wayne State (MI) G Darian Owens-White has entered the transfer portal. Grad transfer. Owens-White, believe it or not, transfers to Ball State

6'8, a low Mid-Major D1 player who averaged 12 points and 7.5 rebounds a game, looks like a good pick-up for Ball State to me.

Brison Waller 6'9" 200#. Played at Garfield Heights - 2019 grad. (same school as Sonny Johnson). 2019-2020: Redshirted at Northwest Florida State 2020-21: Averaged 7.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.4 assists last season with Northwest Florida State. 2021-22: Averaged 4.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.2 assists at Pearl River CC With such unimpressive stats, why you ask? The below site has him on our roster. I'm not claiming the site is correct (in fact they spell his name "Bryson", which isn't a good sign). I'm just putting it out there. I can't confirm this info anywhere else... basketball.usbasket.com/team/NCAA/University-of-Detroit-Mercy/766?Page=1

I'm not saying it's this, but I do know we have 2 walkons on the roster.

He's probably signed, sealed and delivered.

I am really surprised!

Wouldn’t the 2 walk ons be Davis & Pink I would expect Davis to be on scholarship this upcoming season. WHY? What’s so different this year? Davis recruiting philosophy looks to be , grab a hand full maybe we might get a good one by mistake!
