Corey isn't coming back. For one thing, he'd have to sit another year, which would cost him a year of eligibility. I suppose he could come back as a grad transfer for 2020-21. But if he wanted to do the grad transfer thing, it's probably more likely he'd follow Ray to Tulane. Anyway, I feel bad that Corey was sore poorly used. A real talent.
Vogt, I presume, wants a high major. He's a 7 footer, and high deserves high. I assume he'll have options.

The coaching staff that recruited him is no longer there. H went there to play for Ray and Hunter and he sat a year only to have them leave. If I ever saw a hardship waiver this is one just waiting to happen.

I don't think we want to be bogged down with too many waiver requests this year. Especially when there are a lot of equally good options out there. Plus Corey's Twitter feed suggests that he is staying at Ga State to play there.

Vogt was playing well late last year, and with McDonald graduating would have been a major factor in 2020. He is transferring to Cincinnati.

Not to sure what you think are equally good options but I think Corey is one of the best players to come to our program in the last 20 years and would be a phenomenal option along side of AD. He was the best player at UD for the two years he was here and never seemed to have an attitude problem even with the crap that was going on. His basketball IQ is extremely high and I might put him next to AD as an all around quality player.

When Cumberland, Norris, and Justice all declared in short order, I thought the HL might really get hurt by transfers out--but in fact the league has (I think) held up pretty well. I haven't compared us to other leagues (a quick eye-balling of the MAC suggests that they are losing about 6 expected starters to transfer, plus a couple solid role players. The projected starters include a 3rd team all-conference selection and an all-conference Honorable Mention from last year). The Horizon escaped with perhaps 4-7 probable starters: Justice (all conference), Cumberland, Norris (all-freshman), Vogt, and possibly, Nick Rogers (IUPUI) Malachi Smith (WSU) and Bryce Barnes (Milwaukee), though I think Smith and Barnes left in part because they saw they were unlikely to start. There's also a couple guys who still might have blossomed--notably Oakland's James Beck (but note that he hasn't committed anywhere yet). Brailen Neely should have remained a solid back-up point guard (or stepped back in to a starting role once Norris transferred), and I'm a bit surprised he only ended up at D-II Wayne State. Likewise, I was surprised that Milwaukee's Carson Newsome ended up at a D-II school. I would have expected both to at least find a place in the MEAC, or at the Citadel or something like that.
Oakland is clearly the big loser--two starters (Cumberland and Norris), 2 role players (Beck and Neely), plus Stan Scott. But IUPUI loses a lot in Justice and Rogers, the latter of whom was a decent option off the bench. Green Bay loses two players who at times had started, but both were deep on the bench the latter half of last season and not likely factors this year. Northern Kentucky only loses Vogt, but I think the 7-footer would have been a major player in 2019-20. In the second half of last season he had games of 20 points/14 rebounds/3 blocks (against Green Bay); 16 points and 8 rebounds (Detroit); and 16 points and 4 rebounds (Milwaukee), 8 points, 9 rebounds (Detroit); 8 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks (Oakland). Those three--OU, IUPUI, and NKU--are the three teams where I think fans will periodically say "if only... ."
