Heard today that the Loyola Marymount match is a "buy game," so they won't be coming to Calihan next season. I have mixed feeling on this. I would have liked to see LMU come to Calihan, but it probably wouldn't have been a big draw. At least this way we get a check.

EMU at UDM on November 21st. EMU schedule revealedBTW, it's now permitted branding to use UDM Titans after the first mention of the university's full name. Fantastic, I will be there for Thanksgiving.

This explains why we have not been able to get a buy game at Houston.

Here's some food for thought for the upcoming season. This is where Lindy's see the Titans non-conference opponents finishing in their leagues. Toledo: 3rd in the MAC Cincinnati: 13th in the Big 12 (That sentence tells you a lot about the craziness of realignment) Mississippi: 9th in the SEC Ohio: 4th in the MAC Eastern Michigan: 10th in the MAC Southern Illinois-Edwardsville: 2nd in the Ohio Valley Ball State 9th in the MAC Northwestern: 8th in the Big Ten Loyola Marymount: 3rd in the West Coast Conference Central Michigan 12th in the MAC North Carolina State: 8th in the ACC This is a pretty tough schedule, especially with a team with so many new additions. One thing we know for sure, this was not a good year to be playing a tough non-conference schedule, but that's what we got. Here's a quick look at how our non-con opponents are doing, compared to Lindy's predictions. Toledo, picked third, currently second in the MAC at 15-9, 9-2. Not a top tier Toledo team, compared to recent years, but definitely formidable. Cincinnati: Picked 13th in the Big 12, currently 11th at 15-8, 4-6. They've been better than expected, and have held their own in the gauntlet of the Big 12. They might be in first place if they had stayed in the AAC. The Bearcats have wins over then-ranked BYU, Texas Tech, and TCU, with losses to Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma and Kansas by a total of 13 points. That's a good team. Ole Miss: Picked 9th in the SEC, currently 8th with a better record than anticipated at 18-5, 5-5. Ole Miss has wins over Memphis, Temple, NC State, and Cal in the non-conference schedule. Ohio: Picked fourth in the MAC and now tied for fourth, at 7-4, 13-11. Eastern Michigan: Picked 10th in the MAC, currently 11th at 2-9, 9-15. SIU-Edwardsville: Picked 2nd in the Ohio Valley, currently sixth at 6-6, 13-12. Ball State: Picked 9th and currently 9th in the MAC at 4-7, 12-12. Northwestern: Picked 8th in the Big 10, currently 4th at 17-7, 8-5. Good wins over Dayton, Purdue, Michigan State and Illinois, to go along with a puzzling home loss to Chicago State. Loyola Marymount: Picked third in the WCC, currently sixth at 3-7, 10-14. One of the few teams on the Titan slate really failing to meet expectations. Central Michigan: Picked 12th in the MAC and currently a surprising 3rd in the league, two games out out first at 8-3, 14-10. North Carolina State: Picked 8th in the ACC and currently 6th at 7-6, 15-9. Yeah, it was a rough schedule, particularly for this roster/team. I wonder sometimes how the season would have played out if Tank's last second shot against Ole Miss had fallen. Maybe a road upset win against an SEC team would have boosted the team confidence. Perhaps it would have led to better play down the stretch against opponents like EMU and Ball State. Maybe a couple of early wins could have changed the trajectory of the season. I mean, we'd still be bad, but maybe not record setting bad.

MotorcitySPAM,!!! You’re replying to yourself now bro?
You said “this was not a good year to be playing a tough non-conference schedule, but that's what we got” and you should have stopped there. Always trying to analyze the heck of out everything but never admitting that we have the worst coach in the country. Just stop spamming and admit it!!

Going back to your own post from 5 months ago to see how predictions turned out seems perfectly ordinary. I thought it was an interesting post. Picking fights like this, Lurker, is not healthy. Again, let's have fun here. It's a bad enough season without needlessly seeking conflict.

I see so it's ok for motorcitySPAM to pick a fight insult and call me names but you’re defending him now! I think if he dish it out you need to be able to take it. I’ve been on this board longer than most people and I’ve said stupid shiz and made my mistakes but never called out like motorcitySPAM did. I love the og s on the board like ptc and rogo who provide good info but mototcitySPAM is always just on the prowl trying to stir the pot.
Alright I get it, you wanna play favoritism. It’s cool with me but you need to be fair and let me have my say.
I think it’s cool to be called out. Larry and 83 have done this to be before but no need to act mighty and come up with bullshiz conspiracy theories. Just be cool.

He didn’t pick a fight with you on this post Lurker. You just popped out of the blue on a post where there wasn’t even any disagreement.
