Looks like he is class of 2023 Aries Hull was a prospect that interested me when we offered him back in 2019. Seems like he didn't get the traction that some of the early reviews indicated. I didn't follow his high school career, so I don't know why his recruiting seemed to fall off. He probably didn't help himself bouncing around the past few years between Illinois, Tennessee, North Carolina, and back to Illinois. We didn't get him as a Titan, but he will be in the state, as he signed with Southwestern Michigan College, a JUCO. He might be worth keeping an eye on in the class of 2025, if he develops there. Also, SMC had a pretty solid year in it's return to basketball in 2022-23. That might be a program with whom it might be worth establishing a relationship, with an idea towards future recruiting. The Michigan Community College athletic association puts out some good players. Seems like we should be in the hunt for more of them. www.smcroadrunners.com/sports/mbkb/2022-23/releases/20230504oadr51

Looks like we dodged a bullet.đź‘Ť I have the feeling that the issue with him is a lack of serious suitors, rather than him just having a hard time making up his mind or waiting for the best offer. I don't mean to criticize him, but I don't think he is a plan A recruit for any D1 team.

Caleb Hunter has verbally committed to Mercer. Local kid, so I hope he does well unless he's playing against the Titans.

I believe Alex Tchikou needed a waiver to be eligible for the coming season. Is it possible that his inclusion in today's press release means this hurdle has been cleared?

Official announcement of 6 transfers. Fuller and Toatley not included. That is a terrible recruiting class.

I agree with the Upper Peninsula. We haven’t had that kind of size and experience. A big factor is how some players come back from injuries. IMO, the key player is Tovar….score, rebound, defense. Also need Fuller to clear waivers…..he can be a key factor in backcourt.
